Security Deposit & Pre-Authorization Policy
Clear, transparent guidelines on how security deposits are held, calculated, and released.
Deposit Blocked, Never Debited
At vehicle collection, the security deposit is temporarily pre-authorized (blocked) on your card, not debited. Upon returning the vehicle in good order, the authorization hold is released within 4 working days after final invoicing.

Release Timelines & Bank Processing
1. Once you return the vehicle, our station attendant completes the digital check-out condition report and calculates any outstanding FASTag toll charges or fuel variance.
2. If no damage or pending tolls exist, Patna Car Booking instructs your card-issuing bank to release the pre-authorization hold on the same day.
3. Depending on your issuing bank (SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, etc.), the held balance reflects back in your available credit / account balance within 2 to 4 working days.
